Short version
- This website has no ads, no analytics and no cookies.
- Our contact form doesn't send anything to us by itself. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message, and you choose whether to send it.
- We use what you send only to reply to you about Akka.
- You can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
Akka is made by Branch Out Digital Labs LLP, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. When this policy says “we”, it means us.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, branchoutlabs.com. The Akka app isn't publicly available yet. Before anyone uses it, we'll add here exactly what the app collects and why, and families will see it before they sign up.
3. What we collect
When you contact us. If you send us a message through the form, WhatsApp or email, we receive what you choose to include: usually your name, phone number and, for parents, your child's grade, school, area and textbook. We don't ask for your child's name on this website.
When you visit. Our pages don't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
4. Why we use it
Only to reply to you, to tell you about joining Akka or running a pilot, and to plan which schools and areas to work with first. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
5. Services involved
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) hosts this website. Like any web host, it may log visitors' IP addresses to keep the service secure.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages you send us on WhatsApp.
- Google Workspace (Google) runs our email at branchoutlabs.com.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we're talking with you about Akka. If you'd like us to delete them, just ask and we will.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@branchoutlabs.com or message us on WhatsApp. See also Delete your data.
8. Children
This website is meant for parents, schools and tutoring centres, not for children to use on their own. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
