For Grade 3–6 children in Bengaluru
An elder sister for Kannada homework.
Akka guides your child through their own Kannada textbook, step by step, with games and writing practice. Made for families who don't speak Kannada at home.
01 · Learning through play
Go on, pop a balloon.
This is a game from Akka's letter lessons. Letters that look alike sit side by side, so children learn to tell them apart, not just recognise them.
02 · She guides, step by step
She explains before she asks.
Your child never has to guess what a task wants. Lift the cover on one letter lesson:
03 · Spelling
Fix one letter, not the whole word.
Your child writes on the screen and Akka checks every letter. When something's off, she points to exactly that letter. Then the word goes into their notebook, so the practice carries over to paper.
04 · Ready for tests
Test day feels familiar.
A short test each week on what they practised, with written answers like school. Akka holds the marks until the end, the way a real test works.
05 · For you
See it all, without reading Kannada.
What they practised, how it went, their notebook page and their test, in plain English. Tap a day.
06 · For schools and tutoring centres
You assign the work. Akka shows you each child.
Tutors spend their time teaching, not checking. Tap a child.

07 · Fair questions
Things parents ask us.
Do I need to know any Kannada?
No. Akka talks to your child in Kannada and English, and your view is in English.
Does it follow my child's textbook?
Akka is built on the Karnataka state Kannada textbooks for Grades 3–6, which many CBSE and ICSE schools in Bengaluru use. Tell us which book your child has. More boards are on the way.
Is it a replacement for school?
No. It's practice at home for what they learn in class, from the same book.
What does it need?
An Android tablet or phone with internet, a notebook and a pencil. iPhone and iPad are coming soon.
What does it cost?
We're starting with a small group of founding families. Get in touch and we'll explain how it works.
What happens to my child's data?
It's stored in India and used to teach your child. Read our privacy policy, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
